Welcome to the download and introduction page to my latest study model. The version shared here is a "clean sheet" version that may be updated from time-to-time or replaced entirely. Updates should be noted via the versioning of the filename. The (Psalm 90:10) model originally began with the latest day count (under 81 years) to accomodate the timely death and resurrection of the two witnesses from the beginning of a specified time. Using, in this case, May 14, 1948 as the beginning point, we choose the latest Shushan Purim available that fits within the 80 year model given by Moses who states,
10 The length of our days is
seventy year -- or eighty if
we are strong -- yet their
pride is but labor and sorrow,
for they quickly pass, and we
fly away.
(Psalm 90:10 BSB)
Using the declaration of the establishment of the State of Israel as the starting point on May 14, 1948, the model counts out 80 years up to, but not inclusive of the 81st Anniversary in 2029. This newly updated model no longer pins the resurrection of the two witnesses to Purim. Their resurrection is estimated between Easter, 2029 and the estimated AoD a couple days later. I'm not dogmatic on these dates, they are suggested and a best guess given the expectation they would be slain and raised before the AoD occurs. Even so, the day count from the establishment of the modern State of Israel is well under the 81 years and within 80 years as given by Moses in (Psalm 90:10).
Recent events have the 1948 start date for the 80 years coming into question and an alternative start date is being explored. The new date has to do with the first modern day Shmitah that ran from 1951-52. Expect new uploads reflecting that research as it becomes available.
Here are the core day counts,
The model displays Hebrew days, which run sunset-to-sunset, against Gregorian and Julian days, which run midnight-to-midnight. This is accomplished by breaking Hebrew days across columns; one the evening before "Erev" and the other on the morrow "Boqr". Day counts of interest each have their own columns with header. Essene Moed, feast days, of interest are provided as well as Pharisee Moed. All are according to their interpretation of Torah and the Tanakh. Essene dates are listed by "Erev (E)" and "Boqr (E)" while Pharisee dates are listed by "Erev (P)" and "Boqr (P)". Rows hilighted in BLUE are (mostly) Essene events. Rows hilighted in GOLD are Pharisee events. Rows hilighted RED are events where Essene and Pharisee dates coincide.
The latest features added to the model are:
The calendar model was rendered using LibreOffice Calc, Version: 6.4.7.2 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and is provided in .ods (OpenDocument Spreadsheet) file format. This format is based on an open standard (ISO/IEC 26300) that is similar to Microsoft Excel and can be accessed by Office 365 users.
NOTES: The calendars the model uses are relative to each other and to those who will be living in that day. The model does not attempt to find the Day of our Blessed Hope. High watch days are suggested and most recently, perhaps, revealed by ancient Hebrew versions of (1 Thessalonians 4) via Drs. Ken and Donita Johnson and the Dead Sea Scrolls. THE PURPOSE OF THESE MODEL STUDIES IS TO DETERMINE IF PROPHETIC BIBLICAL DAYS AND DAY COUNTS CAN RATIONALLY BE UNDERSTOOD ON OUR CALENDAR SYSTEM(S). I have no personal prohibition on searching for the Day of the rapture. As a matter of fact, we're told to look for the Lord's coming! I also do not claim to know the Day of the rapture, but I'm not afraid to share what I consider high watch days. With that said, I believe that this model STRONGLY suggests a date; reinforced, perhaps, by astronomical and human events as well as recently published scholarly studies of Scripture.
